Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan is the world's largest autonomous educational institution, comprising more than 21,500 schools, single-teacher schools, cultural centers, and higher education institutions. It provides value-based education to over 3.6 million students, and more than 5 million of its alumni are actively contributing to various fields of society. In 1952, inspired by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), a group of dedicated individuals took up the noble cause of education. Committed to nation-building, they laid the foundation of "Saraswati Shishu Mandir" in Gorakhpur, marking the beginning of this movement to provide quality education along with moral values to young minds. Before this, the "Geeta Vidyalaya" had already been established in Kurukshetra in 1946. The primary objective of Vidya Bharati is the holistic and all-round development of students while also fostering social awareness and promoting the philosophy of "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam" (The world is one family). The Panchpadiya teaching methodology, developed by Vidya Bharati, aims to nurture students into knowledgeable, cultured, and patriotic individuals. The organization was officially established in 1977.

"Explore, Exercise and Achieve", right from the early years, providing a platform to every child for experiential learning, group exploration, and building projects with the use of available resources to achieve their individual goals.The institution is working diligently to establish a safe, trusting, and collaborative culture that is of the utmost importance in achieving success. With the use of technology, we emphasize conceptual understanding. Collaboration-based innovative activities ensure critical and creative thinking thus enabling the learners to think beyond the boundaries of the books, encouraging scientific temperament and problem-solving skills. We teach our children the deepest respect for diversity with a deep belief that each individual has unique capabilities and that it is our responsibility to tap their talent, polish it and make them 21st Century ready intellects.
OUR MISSION
The foundation of educational training should be based on the psychological needs of students. Even today, India's education system is deeply rooted in Western lifestyles, whereas, according to Hindu philosophy, holistic and comprehensive development of students is not possible without spiritual growth.
Vidya Bharati has emphasized Indian psychology and incorporated it into its education system through the 'Innovative Panchpadi Teaching Methodology'.
Vidya Bharati Delhi Prant is divided into three subcategories:
(A) Samarth Shiksha Samiti: A non-profit progressive educational organization registered in 1959. Currently, it operates through four subcommittees: Southern, Western, Eastern and Northern Divisions.
(B) Hindu Shiksha Samiti Delhi: A non-profit organization established in 1992, actively working in the field of education.
We have a total of 91 Sanskar Kendras in Delhi, out of which, 20 Sanskar Kendras are in East zone, 42 in South Zone, 29 in West zone and 18 Sanskar Kendras are part of North Zone.
Service before Self, the motto of Samarth Shiksha Samiti is a reflection of its ethos and a desire to usher in an era of knowledge with a belief that every child, however different has the right to education.
Our mission is to give equal opportunities to each stakeholder for personal growth through our Value Added Education System. It's a mission to arm the students with special skills to enable them to be successful in every sphere of life, and to make each child into a wholesome human being, who will essentially believe and work towards Service before Self.
